New Data in Immiguru: USA – L-1 Intra Company Transfer (“New Office”)

We’re very pleased to announce that the L-1 Intra Company Transfer (“New Office”) process for the United States of America has been added to Immiguru.

L-1 intra company transferee status is available to qualified international executives, managers, and specialised knowledge employees transferred from an overseas organisation to work for the same organisation in the United States or for its American subsidiary or affiliate. The process in question is applicable to  U.S. companies trading for less than one year or “new offices”.

New Data in Immiguru: USA – B-1 Visitor Visa and Visa Waiver Program

We’re very pleased to announce that the B-1 Visitor Visa and Visa Waiver Program processes for the United States of America have been added to Immiguru.

Immiguru contains information about corporate work-related immigration processes only but since certain, limited work-related activities are permitted on visitor status, we’ve decided to include this route. (The applicant must remain on foreign payroll and contract and the activities in the U.S. must benefit the foreign employer and not a U.S. entity.)

Many thanks to our partners in the U.S., Jim Alexander at Maggio + Kattar and Michelle White at Littler Global for their help with this!
