Rana Sajjad Admitted as a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)

We are pleased to share with you that having passed the international arbitration award writing exam with a 98% score for judicial merit and passing the interview, Mr. Rana Sajjad, a partner of Rana Ijaz & Partners in Pakistan, has been admitted as a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), one of the world’s leading centres that provides education and training for arbitrators.

A Fellow is the most senior-level membership of CIArb.  Currently there are a total of seven individuals in Pakistan who have attained CIArb’s fellowship of which only two, including Mr. Rana Sajjad, are practicing lawyers.

Mr Rana Sajjad has also set up Pakistan’s first international arbitration centre, called the Center for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration (CIICA). Peregrine Immigration Management Ltd is very proud to announce that, in partnership with Luminary Global Immigration  we won top honours in the “Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility – Bespoke” category at the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs).

Luminary Global Founders Receive Mobility Magazine Editorial Achievement Award

We are delighted to report that our friends and clients, Katharine Salem and Glenn Faulk, founders of Luminary Global Immigration, have been given the 2014 Mobility Editorial Achievement Award by Worldwide ERC for an article they wrote which was published in Mobility Magazine last year.

Emerging Opportunities in Emerging Markets“, which appeared in the May 2014 issue, was a “sweeping exploration of factors involved in developing a strategic global business strategy in the era marked by the rise of EAGLE, CIVET, and MINT countries”.

The authors presented background on geographical, political, and economic factors that are important to companies entering emerging markets, examined challenges of finding skilled talent willing to transfer there, and offered detailed recommendations for visa and immigration support of transferees to these countries, including hypothetical scenarios that illustrate immigration service delivery models for global expansion.
