Effective 26 December 2016, regulations have been published which specify the procedure for submitting new mandatory notifications for companies posting foreign national workers to Italy.
Please note that the mandatory communication obligation applies not only to assignments activated after 26 December 2016, but also to any assignments activated after 22 July 2016 and which are still ongoing as of 26 January 2017. Employers of posted workers on assignment in Italy in this period must submit a so-called “postponed notification” by 26 January 2017.
